The Women's Health Center of Lebanon offers comprehensive gynecologic services including routine health screenings, the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of medical problems and conditions, routine and complex gynecological surgeries as well as a number of gynecological procedures performed within our office.

Routine Health Screenings
Women in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania are allowed to self refer themselves to their gynecologist for at least one exam per year. We, therefore, perform routine health screenings and physical exams for our patients as well as treating complex gynecological problems.

We recommend that each patient have a complete gynecological exam each year including a pap smear and a breast examination. After age 40, a mammogram is recommended on a regular basis. After age 40, we recommend that you have a hemocult yearly. You may choose which one of our providers you would like to see for your periodic check-ups when you call to schedule your appointment.

We now also have the ability to screen for osteoporosis right here in our office and to monitor your treatment for osteoporosis. We recommend that women who are at high risk for the disease get a baseline screening as early as possible.

Diagnosis and Treatment of Medical Problems
The Women's Health Center of Lebanon offers comprehensive gynecologic services. All of our providers see gynecologic patients and are skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of medical problems and conditions. In Office Procedures

There are several gynecologic procedures that we perform here in our office. Certain procedures may be required to assist your physician in either diagnosing a medical problem or monitoring a medical condition or treatment. Most of these procedures require a special appointment.

The following gynecologic procedures are performed in our office suite:

• Cryotherapy
• Colposcopy
• Cystometrogram
• Endometrial Biopsy
• Intrauterine Insemination
• LEEP (Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure)
• Sonohystography (Saline Infusion Ultrasound)
• Ultrasound

Except for Sonohystography (Saline Infusion Ultrasound) and ultrasound, the procedures listed above are performed in both office locations. Sonohystography and ultrasound are scheduled in Lebanon only.

Surgical Procedures

All of our providers are Board Eligible by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. All of our physicians are skilled gynecological surgeons and perform both major and minor procedures. Our physicians have privileges to operate at both The Good Samaritan Hospital as well as the Lebanon Outpatient Surgicenter.

Should your medical condition require surgery, your physician will discuss the particular indications for the procedure as well as the surgery itself with you. In addition, our office staff will assist you with any necessary paperwork and ensure that all of your questions are answered.
